Legion is so damn good, it makes me rage for what the X-Men movies could have been. 

I mean, I love the X-Men films, but with the exception of the near perfect X-Men 2, Deadpool and McAvoy and Fassbender, they always feel like they could be so much more. 

And now Legion has everyone realising just how fascinating and brilliant the mutant mythos is, but they’re bored of the movies. Logan could pull it back, but it could also be a final bow for the series. 

There’s all the New Mutants, Gambit and X-Men: Supernova coming, but are they really going to take the same level of care with them that they obviously have with Legion? 

I’ve always been more interested in the mutants than the heroes, so it drives me crazy that it’s taken this long to get something so worthy of the characters.
